Izabelle/Izzy was my first Anatolian Shepherd. I saved up all my money from the part-time job I worked at our local pet shop, Fins Feathers N Friends, in Charles Town, WV. My part-time teenage job could not quite raise enough for a registered Anatolian. I found a breeder that had an oops litter with their AKC Registered Anatolian and a nonregistered rescue Anatolian. This was more in my price range, and I bought her on a spay contract. She had tall lanky legs and intense eyes. She was devoted to me and did a much better job as my companion than a livestock guardian...
